Fun Facts:

  1. If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?
I would absolutely rid the world of teen bullying. As a step-mother to a teenage son, it’s sad to see what the youth of today go through. We need more love and less hate in our world.
  2. What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents still talk about to this day?
I grew up in a small town and when I was either in third or fourth grade, I was at a neighbor’s house playing in their backyard. We got called in to eat dinner and I was quickly loading and shooting my neighbors bow and arrow. Not paying attention to the arrow and my aim, I shot the splintered arrow directly into my hand. Well it certainly wasn’t funny at the time of occurrence, but we all look back and laugh about it now. My consolation prize was a strawberry shake from McDonalds.
  3. What is one thing very few people know about you?
I can play the piano. Although I haven’t played in many years, it’s like riding a bike. You pick back up where you left off.
  4. If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
I would become an expert in woodworking. I love creating and crafting projects, but woodworking scares me. I follow Shanty to Chic and seem to think I can handle making one of their projects, but once I start the process, I quickly realize I need my husband’s help. I know he would appreciate my instant knowledge on woodworking so I wouldn’t constantly ask for his help.
