Tony Pescatore

Tony Pescatore – CPA, Managing Partner

Tony Pescatore specializes in income tax and business consulting for both individuals and small to medium-sized businesses. He also consults and leads our firm in the estate and trust tax planning arenas.

Tony is a 1991 graduate of Purdue University with a B. S. degree in Accounting. He is a licensed CPA in both Arizona and Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Arizona Society of CPAs and the Illinois CPA Society.

Tony has served on the Finance Committees for various associations and non-profit groups. He served on the board of Paradise Valley Country Club, holding the positions of Treasurer and President. Tony is currently a Knight of Magistral Grace in the Order of Malta, where he heads the local membership committee and serves on other committees with the Order. He has traveled annually to Lourdes, France the past four years with the Order serving the Sick and the Poor. He is married and has two children.

  1. If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?
    Lack of Common Courtesy – “Please” and “Thank You” go a long way
  2. What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents still talk about to this day?
    My parents still talk about two stories when I was growing up. The first is when I was playing football in our yard with friends, and on one tackle I got thrown head first into our home AC unit. After about 20 minutes of great pain, I was back out playing football like nothing happened.
  3. The other is when I was playing little league baseball. I had to use the restroom between innings. My at bat came up as I was heading back from the restroom. I calmly walked up to the plate and hit a home run on the first pitch of the at bat, with uniform half tucked in.
  4. What is one thing very few people know about you?
    Prior to majoring in Accounting at Purdue University, I was a Pre-Medicine major at University of Chicago.
  5. If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
    Wine – become a Master Sommelier
